A day at the park

The weather here has been AMAZING this week!  It totally feels like fall with blue skies, puffy white clouds and a crisp breeze.  LOVE it!!  Such a nice change from the heat and perfect park weather!  Me, the crazy camera carrying lady, couldn't leave it at home on such a gorgeous day.  We ran into some friends and here are a couple of fun shots I caught.  Enjoy! :)

SO it was playtime for mom again today.  You knwo that you take a lot of pictures of your kids when I said to Andy, hey would you come out in the garage so I can take some pictures of you and test my lighting and he relpies "sure mom, just a minute let me grab my props."  lol!!  Gotta love that kid!

The first day of school

I can't believe that school has started all ready!  I feel like the summer barely even started and now I'm pulling out the halloween decorations! :) 

School starts SO early around here...especially for kindergarten!  I think I am going to go crazy trying to be on an early morning schedule.  Those of you that know me know how I am in the morning!  We are NOT morning people around here! :)  lol!  The first day was pretty easy.  It was only an hour (and started later thank goodness!) and everybody's families were invited.  It was great to get the kids prepared and comfortable with the classroom and how things would work.  They got to play an I-spy game and find all the important things in the classroom, get their picture taken, color a self portrait and make a snack bag for their snack the next day.  It was a great photo op! :)  Seriously though....it was like there was paparrazzi in the room.  EVERYBODY had cameras - grandparents, siblings, parents with both still and video cameras....craziness!!!  Because of the chaos my pics didn't turn out all that great...sorry!

 

I noticed in one of the pictures in front of our house that he was wearing two different socks.  UGH!!  When I asked dh about it he said that he didn't feel like searching for a match.  "They were both white so what was the big deal??"  Well, the big deal was that one of them was striped and one wasn't and they obviously didn't match!!  :)  Looks like I'll have to supervise the "quality control" around the house while we're getting ready in the morning from now on.  It would be MY kid that shows up on the first day with mismatched socks!  lol!

Tiny Dancer

Well, I've totally fallen victim to buying props practically everywhere I go.  My neighborhood has so many little girls ash's age though I figure they'll be put to good use. :)

I can't wait to get these printed!  They are already on their way and will be ready to pick up today.  WooHoo!!!  Getting new pictures is like christmas for me! :)
