a friend of mine asked me to send some pictures the other day for a project she's working on so that meant photo shoot!!! WooHoo!! I grabbed the camera and we headed out into the backyard here's a sample of what we came up with...too fun!

This weekend we spent a little time taking some pictures before school starts at a local park. I can't believe that I have a school aged kid! :( I thought I better take some pictures now in case I blow the first day of school shots! :)
Often when we're out taking pics he'll ask if he can take a few. I know it sounds a little nuts to hand over the expensive equipment, but the outcome is usually pretty fun and I think it's fun to see what he sees. He's gotten pretty good too. Since I'm usually behind the camera there aren't many pics of me. I thought this was a fun one that he took:
I encourage you to hand over your camera every once in a while or get them a one time use point and shoot and see what they come up with you just might be surprised! :)
I'll share some from the shoot in a few days when I get around to cleaning them up! :)

Oh!! Sorry it's been a while since I blogged! We just had a totally fun, crazy week. 40 of our closest friends came to town for a reunion that I organized. Talk about a blast! :) After a week of disney, baseball games, the beach, late dinners, scavenger hunts and water parks I was wiped!! It was so fun to see everyone after five years. Their families had changed so much it was great to see all the kids playing together. And you can't have a week like that without some GREAT pictures! Enjoy! :)

Ash LOVES this chair. I saw it at homegoods last week and couldn't resist. She always loves to sit in anything that is her size. I am such a sucker for buying props! :)
