Good Sides

Yesterday in my attempt to capture pictures of the missing tooth I was trying to get Andy to cooperate with me (which he's NOT!!! lol))  When I started snapping pictures of him he quickly stopped me and said "but mom, THIS is my good side"  HUH???  Where do kids learn this stuff???  Needless to say it cracked me up.  Hope it brings a smile to your face this Friday morning!! :)

At the park

It has been SO beautiful this week!!!  After a few weeks of rain and cold it is nice to be out in the sun again!! :)  We ran into some friends the other afternoon and headed to the park for some fun...

Ok, is this little one the cutest or what????  She always has those darling pigtails.  I'm so jealous that she'll leave them in!!  Ash just rips them out as soon as I get them done. :)

This little guy is especially melting my heart lately.  He lost one of his front teeth the other day and it is just too cute.  I'm trying to pin him down to get a shot of that toothless grin but he is being a little camera shy!! Don't worry...I'll get em. ;)

lovin the vintage look on this one.  go speed racer!!  she keeps telling me " I do tricks"  OH Brother!!! ;)  lol!

Black and White or Color??

OK, so I have to admit I have NEVER done one of these before...BUT I LOVE to receive them.  Isn't that funny???  I LOVE to learn things about my friends from these.  I decided that I'd post it here so you can learn a little more about me. :)  And, I'll tell you my big secret about these things...i print them out and save them.  Why you might ask???  Well, when your friend has a birthday or a tough day isn't it nice to be able to surprise them with something that is their absolute favorite??  I can go through their lists and find something that would really brighten their day.  Try it.  It's fun!! :)

12. Have you ever dyed your hair? Never...can you believe it???  I've always been afriad that it would never go back to it's original color or turn green or something!!  I'm a big chicken!

14. Favorite food? Ohhh that's a tough one.  Probably italian or mexican it's a tie

15. Last movie you watched?  Well, I can't remeber the last one I saw in the theater...but last night was John's night to pick a rental so I'm proud to say "Hot Rod"

16. Favorite Day of the year? My kids birthdays.  I LOVE seeing them so happy

17. What do you do to vent anger? call my mom ;)

18. What was your favorite toy as a child?  BOy, I don't really remeber.  I know I had a sticker book that I loved and my friends and I would always get together and trade stickers.  lol!

Lake Arrowhead

John was off this week for a little RandR (we've had some major changes going on in our family...I'll share soon!) so when we realized it was going to be raingin all this week we decided to pack up and head for the mountains!! :)  It was good to get away and enjoy some snow.  It actually snowed for us while we were there.  The kids LOVED it!!  We stayed at a beautiful little place called the Lake Arrowhead Resort and just spent some good quality time together. 

Andy was convinced that he was going to be a snowboarding super star by the time we left.  Unfortunately they wouldn't let him take a snowboard lesson until he had taken skiing lessons.  Since skiing is a little easier than snowboarding they want you to have a grasp on that first.  So, since it was $19 wednesday, John decided to take him skiing.  Well, needless to say we TRIED to tell him just how hard it was going to be but he refused to believe us.  After about 30 minutes he was done.  I was hanging out with Ash at the bottom of the mountain and had to laugh watching him move about 2 feet and then fall over.  He would just lay in the snow face down and refuse to get up.  A LITTLE frustrated!! :)  Poor little guy!  At least he looked cute doing it, right??? ;)

About an hour after coming off the mountain he said totally out of the blue "mom, I NEVER EVER want to go skiing again for the rest of my LIFE!!!"  love the drama of 5.  :)

Two Cuties

Oh!  These two melt my heart!!  They are just too cute.  Watching them grow up is SO much fun.  He is just such a love bug and she is SUCH a girly girl!!  And their momma...well I don't know how she does it but she finds the CUTEST outfits.  Pink skulls and all for her baby girl.  I think I need to go shopping with her one of these days!!

Finally Long Enough

I've been trying to get this little girls hair into pigtails for what seems like forever!!  Finally, we were able to do it.  And she didn't even pull them out!  I think it's becuase she had so many people telling her how cute she looked she felt like a princess! :)

The Grove

A little family fun at a cool mall in LA.  :)  I think people must have thought that the kids were famous and I was the paparrazzi! lol!!  I take a few too many pictures some times! :)

Back from CHA

For those of you that don't know, along with being a photographer I am also a serious scrapbooker. :)  I owned a monthly kit club Coordinates Collections for several years before selling my half to my partner last year.  I still have a fun scrapping website and a scrapping blog, I'm just out of the sales part for now. :)  That's actually what got me started with this whole photog thing. 

Every year the craft and hobby association has a HUGE trade show to debut all of the new product.  It's basically a four day drool fest for me. :)  So much beautiful paper and fun things to play with! :)  But this year was extra fun for me.  One of my dear dear friends Teresa Collins debuted her very own line!!!  And to top it of she used a bunch of my pictures for her booth samples!!  So, I got to go check out her booth with all of the fun pics of my sweet baby girl. 

Now, I can't take credit for the darling layouts, but the pics are mine. :)
