For Sale...

I've been thinking about this for a while now.  You probably all know by now that I LOVE etsy.   I LOVE just about anything creative or crafty.  I LOVE to make stuff and play around with all different types of mediums.  The problem is I usally make more than I can use just because it's so much fun for me! :)  So, I thought I'd give selling some of my craftiness online a try. :)  Every now and then when I make something new I'll post it here and let you all know about it...then I'll stick it in my etsy store.  I haven't named it yet...I can't decide on which name I like best...the pressure!! :)  So for now, I'll just list these here and once I name my store...I'll post em there.  :) 

Most items will be one of a kind--meaning once they're gone I won't be making them again unless there is a special request.  :)

If you're having a baby girl any time soon here's an announcement option for you...

 

These are mini file folders that measure 4x5.5  They are baby pink and hand-stamped with a rosy pink "baby".  They are embellished with rhinestones, flowers and ribbon...all things girly.  :)

 

These are the inserts that come with the announcements, a place for you to give all the important details. :)

They are made to slip in the file folder along with a 3.5x5 picture. (sorry the colors are off a little in these pictures.  the paint looks red orange-ish here but is actually a rosy pink color more like in the first picture).

 

Each invitation incudes the file folder, insert and 5x7 envelope.   There are 20 available.  They are $2.50 a piece.  Shipping is $4.95 for USPS priority and includes delivery confirmation and tracking.

Valentine Boxes

Are you looking for something cute to give your valentines this year???  Something to send to the classroom with your little one that makes all the other moms say WOW??  Why not send some of these full of goodies??

I made these little treat bags out of a few sheets of scrapbook paper.  They were SO easy!!!  I made a pattern for you.  Simply Download Treat Boxes pattern here.  Print and cut it out, trace it onto paper of your choice-- glue together and fill with treats! :)  The dotted lines and flaps are marked on the template.  That is where you fold.  To make the heart handles I simply used a craft heart punch.  Think of the possibilities.  These would look SO cute as favors on place settings or tables for any party!  Choose papers to match whatever your theme may be.

Friday Favorites (a litte early this week!!) -- BFDesignz

Great Gift Ideas: Idea/Leisure Book

I saw this idea over on a blog that I love to check and thought it was a SUPER great idea for someone special in your life. 

Jordan over at oh happy day made this AWESOME book...

"I divided it up into cheap restaurants, recommended restaurants, Treats Cafe's and Dessert, Excursions, Events by time of year, Fun Things to do, Movies, Music, Books, Stores.

Then I did a bunch of research online and asked and emailed a lot of friends for ideas. It is like his own personal culture guide of bands to listen to, stores to visit, movies to rent, hikes to go on, etc. I'm still not totally finished but one of the things I like about it is he can always add to it when he hears about something he wants to check out in his free time." -jordan

Isn't that a GREAT gift idea???  It's totally personalized and what a resource!  I know that we are big fans of checking out restaurants and such that we read about in frommers or  sunset mag but half of the time with our busy schedules we are too brain dead by the end of the week to even think of something to do, somewhere to go, something to watch etc.  This is SUCH a fun idea!  You could even add a section for coupons for restaurants and places that you want to go.  Now, since we just had Christmas you can get working on this for next year  WAY ahead of time.  No excuses this year! ;)

New Teresa Collins--Haute Cuisine

Are you ready for the last sneak peek of the week???  This is the new Haute Cuisine line.  It coordinates perfectly with th recipe line from last year and gives you even more options to create a fun book.  I love that I can make scrapbooking cookbooks.  So many of my family memories are tied to the food that we eat.  The grandma's orange rolls at every holiday, famou chocolate chip cookies...you know...those foods bring back so many memories.  Love that I can scrap them all in one place and pass on the recipes at the same time!

 

 

I used this album to write down all of our favorite treats.  :)
