I am SO excited!!! In just a few short weeks the hubby and I are getting to sneak away for a few days of fun and relaxation in San Francisco. The thought of strolling down the street arm in arm with my man and stopping at any little boutique or antique store that I might find interesting is enough to keep me giddy the whole month. I CAN'T wait!! After a leisurely drive up the coast my first stop will be here. I have been WAITING to go this little jewel for a few years now.
Do you recognize this...
or how about this?
All of those super cool mis-matched vintage letters that you always see in the pottery barn catalogs come from this place. I am DYING to check it out. I LOVE fonts. The older the better!! Here are a few more pics just to let you drool a little more over some of the other treasures you will find...
YUM!!! There are a bunch of other fun places to visit thanks to a couple of my favorite magazines Sunset and Country Living. I'm doing my research so I don't miss one! ;)
I'm going to try and tear myself away from the shopping and relaxing for a little while so I can get a chance to meet some of you! :)
I will be offering a limited number of family/children sessions while I'm in town. Sessions will be $300 and will include a disk with 10 image files. Like I said, these sessions will be limited so if you are interested please contact me asap! :) [email protected]
This will be SO fun! San Fran is SUCH a beautiful city. I can't wait to capture it...this might be a good excuse for a new lens!! :)
Have a great day!

I don't know how long you will be here, but it you want a totally cool place to shoot and play in the East Bay Hills, I recommend Chabot Space & Science Center - totally fun place for the family - 3 giant telescopes, 2 theaters - one a megadome I-Max style and the other a digital full dome planetarium and lots of interactive exhibitions, plus a gift store and cafe and even free parking.
Incredible views, fantastic architecture and lots of science and space inspiration. Friday and Saturdays open until 10pm to see the stars. check it out, www.chabotspace.org
you can email me and I will give you discounted admission as I work there.

It's worth seeing sometimes not always shown on the tourist maps, only 20 minutes from downtown SF.

What a cool place Sharon!!! I just checked out the website. I can't believe that you don't make it on the tourist maps...it looks like an awesome place to visit! Thanks for the idea! I'm doing shoots on Tues and it looks like you guys are closed then. Bummer! Maybe just John and I can squeeze in some time there. It looks SO fun! I'd definitely like to get tickets from you if we're able to make it out there so I'll tell John about it and email you if we need some. Thanks again!! :)
